Το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Θεσσαλονίκης φιλοξενεί την έκθεση «Μία Αρχαιολογία της Αναπηρίας» που παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην Μπιενάλε Αρχιτεκτονικής της Βενετίας το 2021. Η έκθεση που θα διαρκέσει έως τις 15 Ιουνίου επιχειρεί να προσεγγίσει την αρχαιότητα χωρίς τους διαχωρισμούς που θέτουν σύγχρονες αντιλήψεις για την αναπηρία. Συγκεκριμένα μας καλεί να αναλογιστούμε τη διαδικασία της ανάβασης στην Ακρόπολη της Αθήνας ως μία συλλογική εμπειρία, στην οποία συμμετείχαν όλα τα μέλη της κοινότητας ανεξαρτήτως σωματικής ικανότητας, ανακατασκευάζοντας χαμένα στοιχεία της Ακρόπολης σε γλώσσες και μορφές που σχετίζονται με την αναπηρία και την εμπειρία της, όπως απτικές αναπαραστάσεις, ηχητικές αφηγήσεις, αφηγήσεις στην νοηματική γλώσσα. Επίσης την έκθεση μπορούν να επισκεφτούν και παιδιά, καθώς μετά την ξενάγηση ακολουθεί θεατρικό παιχνίδι.
